REC-ON App: A Review
REC-ON App is a lifestyle application developed exclusively for TV tuners by I-O DATA DEVICE INC. With a compatible recording TV tuner, users can watch terrestrial/BS/110 degree CS digital broadcasts, and reserve recordings from anywhere, inside or outside the house. The app also supports simultaneous use on multiple smartphones and tablets. The latest version, REC-ON App (Veror later), includes a double-speed playback function for recorded programs, which is open to the public from July 5th. The app also supports a Smart TV compatible REC-ON Cast function, which allows users to cast on-air TV programs on their smart TV. However, the Chromecast is not supported.
The REC-ON App is compatible with smartphones and tablets, and its main functions include watching on-air TV programs and recorded programs, viewing the program guide, and recording reservations. It also allows users to take out recorded programs to their smartphones and tablets.
